Used to control the operation of a heating device (e.g. the heat cord in the heated CapPlus tray or a heat mat etc..). Set the desired temperature (measured at the probe) - if the temperature drops below set point, then the heater is triggered.
Can also be used to trigger a cooling device e.g. a fan - if temperature rises above set point.
The control unit has two plug sockets, one for the heating device and the other for the cooling.
