A Plant Driven Pumping System.
This unique pump set was developed specifically for the Autopot System.
How the Autopot Smart Pump Set works:
1. Water supply – The reservoir is filled with water from an external water supply and its level is maintained by the built-in ball cock valve in the reservoir tank.
2. Power supply – When the system is first turned on, it will be busy pumping water to fill up all the planters. The pump stops when all the planters have received sufficient solution.
3. Feeding – As water is being pumped through the system, a calibrated proportion of parts A and B nutrients are “injected” into the delivery outlet.
WHAT IS SO SPECIAL ABOUT THIS PUMP SET? The answer lies with the fact that this is….A PLANT DRIVEN PUMPING SYSTEM . That is, the plants decide when the pump should work and not us. This can only be made possible when used in conjunction with the Smart-valves developed by Autopot Systems. This pumping system very little power to operate, it works only when there is a need to refill any of the Autopot units as demanded by the plant.
Features:- * Comes with a 12V DC diaphragm pump * Can be powered by either a battery or transformer * Can feed up to 1,000 plants over a kilometre of tubing. * Comes with two part nutrient dosers. * Generates high working pressure, * Can deliver nutrients up to 20 feet high. * Outlet is sized for 13mm poly tubing. 13mm recommended as the main supply line to your Autopot modules, then reduced down to 4mm to connect up to your Smart-valve.
